"Nuestro Querido 2º de Bach ya está en Londres"
First Day - Friday 8th June 2018
The beginning of an amazing trip...
After an intensive week of exams, the end of Selectividad has finally arrived!!!
We managed to spare some relaxing moments but not for long, as we were soon checking in for our flight to this end of school trip we have been looking forward to for sooo long.
Our journey began today 8th of June 2018 at 9:30, when we all met our parents and also of course, our beloved miss Julie.
After our final goodbyes, off we went to catch our plane.
By the time we got to the hotel it was very very late and we headed straight to bed.

Second Day - Saturday 9th June 2018
After a short night's sleep, we woke up at 7:45 and had a quick breakfast.
Then, we got the tube at Russell Square and headed to see the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, which was covered in scaffolding.
We also visited Westminster Abbey, but we only saw the outside because there was a very long queue to go in, so instead we lay down in St-James Park for a while.
We suddenly heard people shouting and we ran to see the Queen's parade, we were so lucky to see her in the flesh on her official birthday!!!
Next, we saw Buckingham Palace which was really crowded.
Later on, we decided to walk through Hyde park, the biggest green area in central London.
The weather was really good and we had a delicious ice cream to help us fight the heat.
After a 40 minute long but nice walk, we finally got to Little Venice, one of the prettiest residential areas and we had lunch.
After filling our stomachs and resting we walked all the way to Camden Town, following the canal, we passed Regent's park and London zoo.
We spent a couple of hours in Camden Town, where we had some snacks, did some shopping...etc.
As soon as we finished we returned to the hotel on foot and luckily it rained only a few drops.
We were exhausted when we reached the hotel but glad to have had such a nice day and proud of walking 26km.
At 9pm we bought dinner and we went to Russell Square to eat it. We had to rush in order not to get locked inside the park.

Third Day - Sunday 11th June 2018
After having a quick breakfast, we went to Sky Garden, where the views were fantastic!
Mr. Gaspar had a leatherman tool which wasn't allowed, so he couldn't enjoy the unforgettable visit.
Then we walked to the breathtaking St. Paul's Cathedral and we attended a 5 minute-mass.
Even though we spent little time there, it was worth going. After the mass we headed to one of the tallest building in the city to enjoy the view
of the whole city. We spent about 2 hours there.
We were quite hungry by that time, so we went to a nearby Mc Donald’s to give ourselves a treat.
After lunch we went to the British museum to check out some of the masterpieces of human history.
We then visited Covent garden and shopped a little bit there and we followed a few street performances.

Fourth Day - Monday 11th June 2018
Today has been a lovely day full of emotions. After having a nice breakfast, we went to the underground, to Bank station, because some of us needed to change the old money. Then we went to the Tate modern museum and in order to go there we crossed the Millennium Bridge. We saw a lot of contemporary art and then we headed to the Globe theater where we watched an exhibition, joined workshop. and acted out some lines of Romeo and Juliet.
After having lunch in St. Katherine’s Dock we took the underground to the hotel and went bowling, where we had an excellent evening.

Fifth Day - Tuesday 12th June 2018
Today we had to wake up earlier than the rest of the week because we had to leave the hotel by 8:30 in the morning. At first, we couldn't find the bus we had to take and Mr. Gaspar became crazy looking for it, in the end he found it in Russell Square. From there, we took a bus to Knightsbridge, and on our way there, we saw Oxford Street, different luxury hotels and amazing cars.
In Knightsbridge we started by visiting the natural history museum which exhibits a vast range of specimens from various segments of natural history. From there we went to the science museum.
Later in the day we had over 4 hours to eat and wonder around oxford Street where we had time to go shopping.
We met again in Piccadilly circus around 7pm and went to watch Les Misérables.
The end of the day was wonderful, specially for all those who are sentimental, "Les Misérables" made them cry laugh and enjoy themselves.
Mr. Gaspar really enjoyed it too! The setting, the singing and the acting were all “on point”.
